Some days, nothing hits the spot like a good, simple sandwich. This one is on a crusty roll I picked up at the Polish bakery near work. From there I also picked up some German salami and baby swiss cheese.
To assemble the sandwich, I toasted the roll and melted the cheese on that. Then I added slices of tomato, avocado, the salami and alfalfa sprouts. It was a good blend of textures - crusty, smooth, creamy, chewy - and flavours. The black olive mix (3 types) as a side kicks a pickle's ass any day of the week.
